I Am Miguel

I am a 12 years old boy with dreams
I wonder why everything is  so easy for everyone but me
I hear my sheeps
I see me taking my sheeps up to the mountains of Sangre de Cristo
I want to prove my family wrong

I pretend im up in the mountains 
I feel that im able to do what everyone else can
I touch my sheeps with passion
I worry if I will be able to take them this year
I cry knowing that I wont make it 
I am a 12 year old boy with dreams


I understand Im still young
I say "I can do it"
I dream of going to the mountains
I try so hard to do everything to go
I hope they let me go
